First Person?

Currently The All-Seeing Orb is a 3rd person game. I'm considering making it a 1st person game.

The pros for keeping the game 3rd person are:

Easier to see when you're being chased and when the eye can see you.

The pros for switching to 1st person:

More immersion

Harder to tell when you're being chased and may lend to a tenser sense of sneaking

The evil house may feel both more immersive and the infinite corridor illusions may be smoother in first person, hiding the seams a little better.

The cons of switching to 1st person:

Will require a complete rework of certain systems and mechanics

I will try to do a stream in the coming days were we experiment with turning the game into a first person sneak em up and then see how it plays. In the meantime let me know what you think of the idea.
